A Former Dance Moms Star, Brooke Hyland, Ties the Knot

Brooke Hyland, former Dance Moms star, is officially married! This past Saturday, she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Brian Thalman. The ceremony was very special, as she celebrated this milestone surrounded by her former castmates from Dance Moms. 

Many people grew up watching Dance Moms throughout their childhood, making this a huge moment for Brooke and everyone else in attendance. On Dance Moms, she starred alongside her younger sister, Paige, and her mother, Kelly. They appeared on the show from 2011-2014.

The wedding took place in Fort Myers, Florida, where Hyland wore a stunning strapless dress designed by Mira Zwillinger. The couple first met in Pittsburgh in 2021, and got engaged on May 6, 2024. Hyland’s cousin, who is a close friend of Thalman, introduced them to each other. They were long distance for the first few months of their relationship before Hyland moved back to Pittsburgh, PA after living in Austin, TX. 

Kalani Goldman, another former Dance Moms star who got married in September 2025, shared to her Instagram “To the Thalman’s.” She expressed that this was her and her husband’s first wedding they attended as a married couple. Another former Dance Moms star, Kendall Vertes, shared to her Instagram “Celebrating love,” and her mother, Jill Vertes, shared “a beautiful wedding is more than flowers and music – it’s a room filled with friends who feel like family, hearts wide open, and two people completely, undeniably in love.” This demonstrates how close the Dance Moms cast truly is, even after years of enduring the ups and downs of the show, and it’s amazing for the fans to see. The original team has reunited multiple times over the past few years, with their most notable reunion being the Lifetime special Dance Moms: The Reunion that was released in 2024.
