‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘The White Lotus’ Lead 2026 Golden Globe Award Nominations: Full List

One Battle After Another is the leading nominee on the film side for the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards with nine nods, followed by Sentimental Value with eight, Sinners with seven; Hamnet with six, and Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good with five each.

The White Lotus is the top nominee on the television side with six nods, followed by Adolescence with five, and Only Murders in the Building and Severance with four each.

In the new best podcast category, the inaugural nominees are Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang With Amy Poehler, The Mel Robbins Podcast, Smartless and Up First.

The nominations were announced on Monday (Dec. 8).

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were both nominated for their performances in Wicked: For Good, just as they were for the first Wicked film a year ago. Wicked: For Good is also nominated for the cinematic and box office achievement award, which was won by Wicked last year (and Barbie the year before that). The other nominees in the Globes’ most distinctive category are Avatar: Fire and Ash, F1, KPop Demon Hunters, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Sinners, Weapons and Zootopia 2.

KPop Demon Hunters is nominated for animated feature, while its key song, “Golden,” is vying for best original song. Fun fact: It’s only the 10th song that logged six or more weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 to land a Globe nod.

Two songs from Emilia Pérez were nominated at the 2025 ceremony.

Miley Cyrus and Andrew Watt are nominated for best original song for the second year in a row for cowriting “Dream As One” from Avatar: Fire and Ash with Mark Ronson and Simon Franglen. Cyrus and Watt were nominated in the category last year for “Beautiful That Way” from The Last Showgirl.

The sixth nominee for best original song is “Train Dreams” from the film of the same name, cowritten Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner.

With nine nominations, One Battle After Another ties Barbie and Cabaret as the third-most nominated film ever, just behind Emilia Pérez, the second-most nominated film with 10 nominations, and Nashville, the most nominated film with 11 nominations.
