Best Red Carpet Photos at the 2025 VMAs: See All the Looks
The 2025 VMAs are here! The MTV Video Music Awards hit the UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y., on Sunday (Sept. 7) night, bringing together some of the biggest names in music and pop culture. Hosted by hip-hop pioneer LL COOL J, the VMAs red carpet brought out Tate McRae, Doja Cat, Ricky Martin, the voices behind KPop Demon Hunters — Audrey Nuna, Ejae and Rei Ami — and many more.
Lady Gaga – one of the evening’s performers, who began the night seated next to collaborator Ariana Grande – is nominated for the most VMAs in 2025, up for 12 Moon Person trophies. Sabrina Carpenter is also one of the 2025 VMA performers, as is Mariah Carey, who is set to receive the 2025 Video Vanguard Award and perform a career-spanning medley. Busta Rhymes will be honored with the MTV VMA Rock the Bells Visionary Award, and Ricky Martin will receive the inaugural Latin Icon Award.
For the first time, the VMAs are being broadcast on CBS, in addition to longtime home network MTV and Paramount+.
The 2025 MTV VMAs are executive produced by Bruce Gillmer, Den of Thieves co-founder Jesse Ignjatovic, and Barb Bialkowski. Gunpowder & Sky CEO Van Toffler is producer. Alicia Portugal is co-executive producer. Jackie Barba is executive in charge of production. Wendy Plaut is executive in charge of celebrity talent. Lisa Lauricella is executive in charge of music talent.
2025 marks Toffler’s VMAs return following a decade-long absence. Ahead of the show, Toffler tapped the New Radicals and BENEE to re-record “You Get What You Give” to promote the show.
