Great weather setting up for the weekend

Rain chances return Friday

A cold front is slated to swing through later Friday morning/early afternoon with a renewed threat of some showers and possibly a storm or two between about 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. near and especially south of Syracuse.

After about 2 or 3 pm most areas of CNY should be drying out to round out Friday with even some sun returning.

Highs are cooling back into the 70s to near 80 to round out the week with lowering humidity and a northwest breeze for the afternoon.

There could be a passing shower or two later Friday night with a weakening disturbance/trough. Lows drop into the mid-50s to near 60.
