Debate for 22nd Congressional District Primary

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Democrats hoping to win their party’s nomination for the 22nd Congressional District debated on NewsChannel 9 on Thursday.
Either State Senator John Mannion and DeWitt Town Councilor Sarah Klee Hood will get to take on Republican Congressman Brandon Williams, the incumbent.
Early voting runs Saturday, June 15 through Sunday, June 23. Primary Day is Tuesday, June 25.
The polls will be open to registered Democrats only.

After another round of redrawing boundaries, the 22nd Congressional District includes all of Onondaga and Madison Counties, the northern portion of Cortland County, the southern portion of Cayuga County and the half of Oneida County south of the State Thruway. It includes the Cities of Syracuse, Utica, Auburn and Oneida.
