Your Stories Q&A: An update on the redevelopment at the former Le Moyne Manor site

SALINA N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — You ask, we answer!
The transformation is well underway at the former site of the Le Moyne Manor banquet facility on Old Liverpool road.
Right now, 66 modern luxury apartments are being built on the property that overlooks Onondaga Lake Parkway and Onondaga Lake.
The development owned by Empire Management Co., has been in the works for years. After pandemic related delays, including supply chain issues, construction began in the spring of 2023.
David Muraco with Empire Management said the project is about 75% complete.
He said interior work continues and soon sidewalks and parking will be addressed.
The company anticipates two of the four buildings will be completed and open to new tenants by the end of July or early August.
The remaining two buildings will follow soon after, with those completion dates slated for August and September.
Muraco said 10 of the 66 apartments are leased and he anticipates that number to quickly climb once the first building is completed and they have finished units to show potential tenants.
He added that the company is seeing plenty of demand for the apartments.
The building located in the middle of the property will be a mixed-use building, meaning it will have residential and retail space. It will also feature a community room for tenants and a deck that faces Onondaga Lake.
Muraco said one restaurant has already signed a lease, and he’s hoping to add a juice bar, a café and perhaps a hair salon.
According to a flyer sent to us by the Muraco family, the majority of the apartments will be two-bedroom units, ranging from 1,100 to 1,250 sq ft. Rental rates start at $2,400 per month.
