NYSDMV releases zodiac-themed custom license plates

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announced the release of new custom license plates on Wednesday. They will feature the 12 zodiac signs.

The DMV has over 200 statewide options for custom license plates. These new additions will feature a recognizable image of the 12 zodiacs, like a bull for Taurus, a crab for Cancer, and a lion for Leo.

All 12 license plates can be bought on the DMV’s website, via phone, mail, or through a local DMV office. The initial fee to register the plate is $60 and the annual renewal fee is $31.25.
