Syracuse Crunch tie series up with overtime win over Rochester


ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WSYR) — After going down 2-0 in the second period, the Crunch rallied and pulled off the 4-3 win in overtime.
With just 47 seconds left in the 2nd period Phil Myers sent the wrister towards the net and Bellerive was there to get the rebound and put them on the board. The Crunch would tie it in the third when Gage Goncalves sent another one of Myers shots in. Then four minutes later, Sean Day sent the puck in the back door to give them the first lead of the game.
Rochester would tie it up and send it into overtime, but it was Syracuse who came out with the win when Gabe Fortier tipped in the shot from Declan Carlile.
Next up for the Crunch they had back home to play Thursday night at 7 p.m.
