Fort Drum invites public to join tour of base

FORT DRUM, N.Y. (WWTI) – Fort Drum officials are inviting the public to participate in the first Around and About Fort Drum Tour on Monday, April 29.

The tour will offer community members a look at sites of historical significance around the installation, exploring our shared past, and explaining how the 10th Mountain Division is training currently and how Fort Drum is looking to the future here in the North Country.

The tour will begin outside the 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum Museum at 10 a.m., returning participants to their vehicles by 3 p.m. at the museum parking lot. Attendees should be prepared to provide their own lunch and wear shoes and clothing appropriate for walking in outdoor conditions.
