MISSING: NYSP asking for help in finding Jefferson County teen


PITCAIRN, N.Y. (WWTI) – New York State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Watertown teenager.
In a press release from the state police, authorities said 18-year-old Kayla Spencer had been missing for several hours from a seasonal camp on Jayville Road in the town of Pitcairn. This was around 11:50 p.m. Monday, April 1.
Around 12:50 am. on Tuesday, April 2, State Police members and Forest Rangers conducted an organized search.
The investigation is currently ongoing, and the State Police are asking for anyone who has a camp on Jayville Road to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity. If anyone has information regarding this incident is asked to call State Police at 518-873-2776.
