Men’s Soccer to Unveil Championship Banners at Home Opener

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men’s soccer program will hold a pregame ceremony prior to kick off on August 24 to unveil the 2022 ACC Championship and NCAA Championship Banners.

The ceremony will begin at approximately 6:50 p.m.

‘Cuse won a program-best 19 games last season, winning the ACC regular season title, the ACC Championship and defeating Indiana in the College Cup Final in penalty kicks for its first national championship title. The Orange became the fourth ever ACC program to win its regular season division, conference tournament and NCAA National Championship in the same year.

Thursday’s contest will be the back half of a soccer doubleheader at the SU Soccer Stadium. At 3 p.m., the women’s team will host Auburn in its 2023 home opener before the men play Providence at 7 p.m.

Admission and parking for both matches is free of charge.
