Snoop’s broadcast debut will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles when the Clippers battle Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The West Coast rap legend is slated to bring his unique flair and hoops knowledge to call the second half of the game alongside Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller.

“This is a dream come true for me,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “I’m fired up to be joining Reggie Miller and Terry Gannon on the call for the Clippers-Warriors game on Jan. 5. I can’t wait to bring a fresh vibe to the analysis while celebrating the skills and strategy these teams bring every night.”

Snoop Dogg is going all-out with his preparation, as he’ll be fully immersed in the entire broadcast experience. He will be attending team shootarounds and breaking down film and production meetings ahead of hopping on the mic on Jan. 5.

“We are excited to have Snoop bring his unique energy and passion to our NBA coverage,” said Sam Flood, who serves as an executive producer at NBC Sports. “It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch Snoop, Reggie and Terry talk hoops with a side order of fun.”

Shortly after covering Warriors-Clippers, Snoop Dogg will be taking his talents to Italy, where he’ll be reprising his role as a special correspondent at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Snoop’s Greatest Hits segment will return to NBC’s Olympic coverage, as Americans will keep up with the Doggfather’s travels across Milan landmarks while checking in with the best athletes the U.S. has to offer.

Earlier in December, Snoop and Team USA announced that the 54-year-old entertainer was selected to be the first-ever honorary coach for Team USA at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.

Check out Snoop Dogg’s call of Warriors-Clippers on NBCSN and Peacock on Jan. 5 at 10 p.m. ET.
