Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s Daughter Gracie Celebrates Pride, Says She’s ‘Been Out & Proud’
Gracie McGraw — the daughter of country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill — would like to set the record … well, not straight, but you get it.
In a since-expired post to her Instagram Stories on Monday (June 2), McGraw posted a photo with the words “everyone get more gay now” written in bold text, while adding her own caption, “HAPPY FREAKING PRIDE. I love being queer.”
While some took this message as her coming out, the 28-year-old clarified on her Instagram Stories early on Wednesday (June 4) that she has already been out for a while. “It has come to my attention that some tabloids have taken an Instagram story I posted yesterday and have used it as click bait saying I’ve ‘come out,’” she wrote. “Let me be VERY clear here…… I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
McGraw continued by saying that she has “always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community,” while “thanking” the outlets who reported on her first post for “shedding light” on Pride Month in 2025. “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity,” she said. “But just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you. Check on your people and be safe out there.”
In one final Instagram Story, McGraw also sent a quick reminder to her followers about the origins of our annual Pride celebrations, reposting a graphic with the words “Pride began as a riot led by Black & Brown trans activists” repeated numerous times. “While you’re here,” she wrote, “Let’s not forget how Pride began.”
Neither of Gracie McGraw’s parents have publicly commented on her posts.
