Road rage leads to stabbing outside Dunkin’ near Chittenango casino

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Oneida Nation Police had to travel to Onondaga County in order to capture a man suspected of a stabbing outside a Dunkin’ in Madison County. A spokesperson confirms to NewsChannel 9.

The spokesperson says two drivers involved in a road rage incident ended up arguing inside the Dunkin’ on Route 5. The coffee shop is part of the complex owned by Oneida Nation’s Turning Stone Enterprises that also includes a Tops Friendly Markets and the YBR Casino, formerly named Yellow Brick Road Casino.

Dunkin’ employees told police they watched as the men went to the parking lot, where one stabbed another.

The injured victim ran back inside the Dunkin’, where police say employees rushed to his rescue with first aid and called 911.

Oneida Nation Police, deputized by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, used the suspect’s license plate information to track down the suspect in Onondaga County.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Michael Ebette. The spokesperson said he was taken into custody within 90 minutes of the alleged stabbing.
