That’s right: The viral sensation that is Labubu has officially landed at Target.
If you have an affinity for the cutie monster creatures that seem to be everywhere these days, they’ve now become more accessible than ever. The trending figure can be shopped on Target’s website via Pop Mart, a major China-based blind box retailer.
Unfortunately, Target has yet to stock the fuzzy plushie Labubus, however, you’ll be able to snag a few plastic figurines that will likely scratch that blind box itch. These figurines are pocket-sized, but pack a punch of personality, giving any space a whimsical touch. There are a multitude of series to choose from, all themed and all super cute. These themed blind boxes range from $38.99 to $45.49.
If you don’t know what a Labubu is, let us catch you up to speed. The toothy figure was created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung. The figure made its first appearance back in 2015 in an art series titled The Monsters.
While the Labubu was around for some time, it didn’t make it big until way later in April of 2024 when K-Pop star Lisa from the ever-popular girl group BLACKPINK was with one of the fluffy collectibles fixed to her Louis Vuitton bag. Since Lisa’s introduction, stars like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian, Rosé, David Beckham, Lizzo, Madonna, BTS, Cher and Lady Gaga have all gotten in on the Labubu mania, affixing their blind box acquisitions to bags, keys and luggage.
Since its rise to fame, Labubu blind boxes have become a hot commodity. Depending on the series you choose, some Labubu blind boxes will run you almost $50 or more. If you see one in stock, we implore you to shop it. These things go fast.

Labubus are just one of many figures nestled into blind boxes. The concept, while extremely simple, is pretty genius. You’ll buy a box containing a figure or a general theme you like without knowing what specific figure you’ll get. Oftentimes, blind boxes will have pictures on the side of the box, letting you know what you might get once you open it.
Sometimes you’ll even have the opportunity to pull a special mystery figure, however, the likelihood of that is slim to none depending on what series you choose. Some popular blind boxes series include Sonny Angels, Crybaby and Skullpanda. The subjects of these blind boxes are usually cute, animal-esque figures meant to be collected and cherished.
