Selena Gomez Was Spotted in the Perfect Fall Sneakers & They’re Selling Out Fast

Selena Gomez is already ahead of the fall fashion game, and she proved that with her latest Instagram post.
Captioned “lake life” with a fish emoji, the IG post featured a carousel of photos from her time at a lake spent smooching her fiancé, Benny Blanco, and walking by the water. Naturally, her outfit picks in the slideshow caught our eye — namely the photos of Gomez sporting the perfect fall footwear. The shoes in question? Steve Madden’s Verdict Tan Multi, currently retailing for $80.
The style can be shopped via Steve Madden’s website, but you’d better hurry: Since the singer posted about them, the sneakers sold out of most of their sizes pretty fast. Never underestimate the power of Gomez and her Selenators. Currently, available sizes include 6 through 7.5 and 11. The shoe is a low-top style with both mesh and suede uppers in a light brown. Cream striping is featured to break up the otherwise monochrome silhouette, creating dimension. Suede is a staple fabric in many fall wardrobes, and one that we think works very well here.
The laces take on the cream and brown colorway of the footwear, further creating contrast. The soles are rubber, a great addition that adds a non-slip feel great for frolicking around the slippery surfaces of a dock or on the shore of a lake.
Gomez’s look incorporating the sneakers was casual, slightly preppy and, most importantly, comfy. The shoes were styled alongside a white pleated tennis skirt, olive green bra top and an oversized denim jacket in a light wash. The “Calm Down” singer’s hair was gathered into a claw clip and her eyes were shaded with black sunnies. The look is easily replicable with pieces you likely already have in your closet. It’s safe to say that if Gomez likes these sneakers, then you will too.
In the unfortunate event that these sneakers do sell out, not to fret: Steve Madden’s Aziel Camel Suede Sneakers for $109.95 are a comparable style with plenty of sizes still available. This low-top style is all brown suede with cream accents on the tongue and mismatched colorful laces in green and yellow and white and black. Rubber soles in a coordinating brown hue round out the set. You’ve got all of the elements that make the Verdict silhouette so great, but with the intensity bumped up just a bit.
