Lady Gaga Pens Heartfelt Note to Fiancé Michael Polansky for Making Her Feel Like the ‘Luckiest Girl Alive’

With a sold-out arena tour, four wins at the 2025 VMAs and a critically beloved album under her belt this year, Lady Gaga is riding high. Now, she wants to make sure that she gives credit to one of the most important people who helped get her to where she is now.

In a lengthy post shared to her Instagram on Monday (Sept. 8), Gaga paid tribute to her fiancé, Michael Polansky, thanking him for the way that he’s helped lift her up over the last few years. “Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you — talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” she wrote in the caption, sharing two pictures of her and Polansky — one backstage at the Mayhem Ball, and another of the two of them posing in the desert.

Gaga continued, specifically singling out the attention and appreciation Polansky shows to her fans on the tour. “I love how much you love my fans and want them to be happy … it fills my heart with happiness how much you love them because we get to love them every day together,” she wrote. “You care as much as I do about people feeling seen in the world.”

Along with being engaged to the pop star, Polansky has also served as a chief collaborator on Gaga’s latest era. He’s listed as an executive producer on Mayhem, with production credits on seven of the 14 tracks. Polansky and Gaga are also listed as the two executive producers of The Mayhem Ball when the credits roll on stage at each of her shows.

In closing her post, Gaga praised Polansky as a “true renaissance man,” and shared just how much he means to her. “You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk every day living the music, performances, and plans with your blood sweat and tears– to see it through every step of the way this year I am the luckiest girl alive,” Gaga wrote in her post. “I love you endlessly. Having your creative partnership in our art, business and in love — is a love I’ve never known … You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life. Thank you for making all our MAYHEM dreams come true.”

For fans who were eager to see Gaga (and potentially Polansky) live but missed her first run of shows, the pop star announced a new set of North American dates for her critically acclaimed Mayhem Ball. Taking place in early 2026, the new dates will see Gaga traveling to a number of cities she missed on the tour’s first stint, as well as two pairs of encore shows in Los Angeles and New York.
