The indie firm — set to officially open its doors on Sept. 15 — will specialize in communications, public relations and entertainment, as well as the production of experiences and events. Through the strategic alliance with Warner Music Latina, it will develop new talent and strengthen the company’s artist roster. The collaboration remains non-exclusive, allowing room for new opportunities and partnerships.

“Working inside labels for so many years gave me incredible tools and perspective, but I reached a point where I wanted to build something of my own,” says Pérez. “What I’m most looking forward to with Studio VII is having the flexibility to expand beyond traditional music PR and explore cultural and digital storytelling in new ways. This felt like the right moment to take that step — to honor the past, but also to create a platform for what’s coming next.”

Built on three pillars — vision, strategy, and creativity — Studio VII will operate across the United States, Mexico, Latin America and Spain. It will support artists, brands and cultural projects from concept to execution through impactful campaigns, customized events and strategic activations in key markets.

Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Pérez — who’s also worked at Melody/Fonovisa, Univision, Universal Music Latina, Capitol Latin — has played a key role in the careers of such global stars as Andrea Bocelli, J Balvin, Karol G, Maria Becerra, Myke Towers, Paulina Rubio and Sebastián Yatra. He’s also worked closely with artists in the Música Mexicana market, including Alejandro Fernández, Jenni Rivera, Los Tigres del Norte, Banda El Recodo and Ana Bárbara.
