Queen and Journey tribute bands to perform at Lakeview Amphitheater in September

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Take yourself back to the 70s and 80s at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater this fall with Killer Queen and VOYAGE.
Killer Queen, a Queen tribute band, and VOYAGE, a Journey tribute band, are coming to the Amphitheater on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Killer Queen started in the United Kingdom in the 90s and has made its way to America, attracting Queen fans everywhere.
“Killer Queen formed back in June 1993. Their first public shows were at London University, following in the footsteps of the real Queen who had played their first shows there 22 years earlier. By 1995 Killer Queen’s UK popularity had grown to such an extent they secured a residency in London’s Strand Theatre attracting nationwide BBC coverage – the first tribute to have a show in the West End. Fast forward to 2023 and the band have sold out Red Rocks and Austin City Limits many times over and are now in high demand all over the world, Killer Queen’s Xmas Arena show is now playing at Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, Nottingham and Cardiff with more dates planned for Europe,” stated Killer Queen’s website.
VOYAGE takes you back to the 80s when the timeless music of Journey ruled the airwaves. The band has brought the meaning of TRIBUTE to a whole new level. “Seein’ is believin’!”
“VOYAGE has been hailed by fans and critics alike as the #1 Journey tribute band in the world, performing the music of Journey with chilling accuracy! Fans agree that VOYAGE delivers the closest experience to the original Steve Perry-fronted lineup. The band also features world-class musicians; Robby Hoffman, Greg Smith, Lance Millard and Dana Spellman who along with Hugo have brought the show to critical acclaim through the many sold-out shows as well as private and corporate events throughout America,” stated VOYAGE’s website.
