Olivia Dean’s ‘The Art of Loving’ Returns to No. 1 on U.K. Albums Chart

British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving has returned to the top of the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart for a second time (Dec. 5).

Dean first earned the No. 1 spot back in October, in the same week where she achieved a chart double with “Man I Need” hitting the summit of the Official Singles Chart.

Following The Art of Loving’s release, Dean’s career has skyrocketed with the LP peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, while “Man I Need” reaches a new peak of No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Last month she performed on Saturday Night Live for the first time, and battled with Ticketmaster and AXS following the on sale of her North American arena tour in 2026. Following widespread reselling of tickets beyond face value, Dean called out the ticket companies for offering a “disgusting service” and won refunds for fans who paid over the odds for resale tickets.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl finishes at No. 2, up one spot on the previous week. The LP has spent four weeks at No. 1 since its release in October and has not dropped below No. 3. Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend climbs four places this week to No. 3, while her 2024 release Short N’ Sweet also sees significant movement, rising seven spots to No. 11. The singer recently wrapped a year-long tour in support of the two records.

With the holiday season entering full swing, Michael Bublé lands in the top 5 with his festive record Christmas, first released in 2014, at No. 4. Tate McRae’s So Close to What, which was recently reissued with a deluxe edition, closes at No. 5.

Scouse rapper EsDeeKid’s remarkable rise continues with his debut album Rebel follows suit, ascending to No. 9 to give him his first top 10 entry on the Official Albums Chart. The LP also landed at No. 67 on the Billboard 200, fueled by rumors that actor Timothée Chalamet is the identity behind the masked musician. Neither have commented on the rumors.
