Which New Music Release Is Your Favorite This Week? Vote!
Good news! This week is closing out with bunches of new music releases, including the long-awaited soundtrack to Wicked: For Good.
Arriving one year after the first half of the Wicked music dropped alongside the first movie in November 2024, the Part 2 soundtrack hit streaming services on Friday (Nov. 21) via Universal Pictures and Republic Records, the same day that Wicked: For Good premiered in theaters worldwide. The new LP features all of the original music in the second half of the Broadway musical on which the Wicked films were based, plus two brand-new numbers sung by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo: “The Girl in the Bubble” and “No Place Like Home,” respectively.
But while the Wicked soundtrack might be the most thrillifying release this week, it’s far from the only new album to drop. Tate McRae unleashed the deluxe edition of her Billboard 200-topping full-length So Close to What — featuring Billboard Hot 100 smash “Tit for Tat” — while BigXthaPlug, fresh off of a memorable performance at the 2025 CMAs, unveiled an expanded version of his I Hope You’re Happy Project.
Plus, Stray Kids sprang into action with a new five-track EP titled DO IT, while Tainy and Karol G teamed up for single “Ünica” and The Kid LAROI unveiled a song called “A Perfect World.”
From major motion picture soundtracks to deluxe albums and new singles, there’s a lot of new music to enjoy this week — and Billboard wants to know your favorite. Tell us which project you have on repeat right now by casting a vote in the poll below.
