Eminem to Executive Produce the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Game Halftime Show

Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, have inked a multi-year partnership with the Detroit Lions to executive-produce the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show.

The Lions announced on Thursday (Nov. 13) that Slim Shady and Rosenberg will “consult” the franchise on all aspects of the Halftime Show’s production and presentation, as well as talent selection from 2025 through 2027.

“It’s an honor for us to team up with the Lions and be a part of the greatest tradition in Detroit sports,” said Rosenberg in a statement. “We look forward to putting together unforgettable shows featuring world-class artists for the fans at Ford Field and the tens of millions watching around the country.”

Production company Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the Halftime Show. In recent years, Shaboozey, Jack Harlow and Big Sean have served as performing headliners in Detroit.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Marshall and Paul, who are two of the most accomplished and respected names in the music industry, not to mention longtime Lions fans,” added Detroit Lions president & CEO Rod Wood. “Their reputation in the business will attract top-tier talent and help us solidify this annual performance as one of the most anticipated cultural moments on the NFL calendar.”

Many fans hopped into the comments with hopes that Em will be selecting himself to perform at this year’s game.

No announcement has been made yet for the 2025 Halftime Show at Ford Field, which will feature the hometown Lions taking on their NFC North division rival Green Bay Packers in the traditional turkey day showdown. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day.
