Megan Thee Stallion Says She Is ‘Manifesting’ A Super Bowl Halftime Performance: ‘I Would Embrace The Challenge’

Megan Thee Stallion says that she is dying to take the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show.

In an interview with US Weekly, Meg said she would love the challenge of performing at what is traditionally the most-watched musical TV performance of the year.

“I’m manifesting a Super Bowl halftime performance for myself in the future,” Megan told the publication. “Honestly, I would really love the opportunity if it presented itself and I would embrace the challenge. The Hotties know I love to put on a show, so I would just want to turn the halftime show into a big party, come with some surprises, and put on for my city.”

The interview comes after Megan’s “Lover Girl” broke a two-week dry spell on the Billboard Hot 100 for rap music. Released in October, the track went on to debut at No. 8 on the chart. She’s also racked up some serious co-signs from hip-hop legends including Queen Latifah, who recently proclaimed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that the Houston native is the future of rap music.

“She’s so cool, she’s so fun, she’s so very talented and strong in her spot,” Latifah said about Meg. “I love that energy carrying hip-hop into the future, of course.”

She continued, “She asked me to pop out at Coachella and I was like, ‘What? For Real, OK?’ I had to bring it for her because this is Coachella, we gotta take that thing down. The people are gonna be ready.”

For now, all eyes are on Bad Bunny as he gets ready for his own Super Bowl Half Time show performance on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
