Halsey Concertgoer Caught on Video Groping Singer as Outraged Fans Condemn the Violation: ‘There’s No Excuse for This’

Halsey fans at the singer’s recent tour stop in Washington, D.C., witnessed an unbelievable violation against the singer. Halsey was performing at The Anthem on Nov. 4 as part of the Back to Badlands Tour, and in recent days, footage from the show has started to go viral that shows a concertgoer groping the singer before security intervenes.

The New York Post shared the footage, which shows the singer performing “Is There Somewhere” while leaning close to the crowd, as they often do during live performances.

Video captured inside the venue shows a fan placing their hand on Halsey’s thigh, before moving it further beneath her leather skirt. A security guard standing along the barricade shoved the attendee’s hand away, and Halsey continued performing uninterrupted.

One fan account on X wrote, “Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent,” while other fans have condemned the action on social media as well. “Have we not learned respect?” one fan responded. “There’s no excuse for this.”

Halsey is deep in the midst of the Back to Badlands Tour, which began in Los Angeles and is scheduled to continue through February. The tour will make numerous stops across the U.S. before heading overseas. Following the D.C. performance, Halsey continued with performances in Minneapolis and Chicago.

The incident is the latest unfortunate event to befall the pop star. Halsey previously experienced a “minor medical emergency” while in Boston last week, which led to a brief stint at Massachusetts General Hospital. They ended up performing as scheduled.
