The Philadelphia jeweler, Shyne Jewelers, posted an Instagram carousel on Tuesday (Oct. 21), showing the intricate details that make up the rapper’s new piece.
The chain’s diamond-encrusted rope includes the names of YoungBoy’s children, with the Baton Rouge rapper expecting his third child with Mychelle.
“The moment Jaz’s vision became reality,” Shyne Jewelers wrote in the caption. “Thank you for commissioning us with creating this masterpiece for your husband!”
“I like it a lot. Very special and meaningful,” Jazlyn told the jeweler in a screenshotted text message. “I think he will like it a lot.”
NBA YoungBoy is currently in the midst of his sprawling MASA Tour but ran into a few issues on some recent dates. The rapper canceled a few shows in Atlanta and Detroit, and no explanation was given for any of the cancellations. However, back in September, YB’s manager called out Chicago’s United Center for canceling their MASA stop. No reason for that cancellation was given either, but the home of the Chicago Bulls had just implemented a stricter bag policy, which would have banned fans from bringing bags of any kind to the YoungBoy show.
“@UnitedCenter b—hed out,” YoungBoy’s manager, Alex Junnier, wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “Shoutout to Joe Myhra @UnitedCenter. He didn’t want us to have fun. Scary.”
YoungBoy Never Broke Again is set to take the stage at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, on Wednesday (Oct. 22).
