If you’re interested in learning more about Gucci and his story, we highly recommend checking out his earlier book The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, co-authored by former music editor Neil Martinez-Belkin. While the 2025 offering is meant to clear things up and provide context, the 2017 entry reads like a standard autobiography, taking readers through Gucci’s upbringing in Alabama to his rise as a trap music pioneer in Atlanta.
