Billie Eilish Sends Gifts to the Fan Who Defended Her From an Aggressive Concertgoer in Miami

In the aftermath of a scary moment at Billie Eilish‘s recent Miami concert, one person in her fandom gained overnight fame due to how fast she sprang into action to defend the pop star — and now, Eilish is showing her gratitude.

Last week, 18-year-old concertgoer Aniyah didn’t hesitate when another concertgoer grabbed Eilish’s arm and slammed her into the barricade at the singer’s first of three October performances at the Kaseya Center. As captured in numerous videos from the night, the young fan — who was wearing a red bandana at the time, making her easy to spot in the chaos — chased down the culprit as he was being pulled away by security personnel and fiercely scolded him.

A few days later, Eilish sent Aniyah a sweatshirt and other goodies as a thank-you for stepping in, as captured in a photo posted Sunday (Oct. 12) to the fan’s Instagram Story. “thank you so much for the gifts billie!!!” Aniyah wrote, stamping it with several heart emojis.

Eilish is just the latest to recognize Aniyah for her fearlessness. In just a few days, Aniyah has gained more than half a million followers on TikTok, with the nine-time Grammy winner’s fanbase seeking her out online to praise her for protecting their idol. Finneas also shouted out Aniyah on his Instagram Story shortly after the incident occurred, writing, “Red bandana girl from last night’s show rules.”

The pop star has not publicly commented on what happened, but local police confirmed to ABC News that the aggressive concertgoer was immediately ejected from the Kaseya Center. No further action was taken after that.

Eilish has since closed out her run of shows in Miami. Her next stop on the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour — which kicked off more than a year ago in September 2024 — will take place at the Kia Center in Orlando, Fla., on Tuesday (Oct. 14).
