Rob Gabrik – General Manager
As General Manager it’s my job to oversee all operations of the station and act as the alumnus liaison to the student body. I became passionate about Z89 when I saw how welcoming and passionate our alumni were. Whoever I spoke to had their own story and reason for their continued involvement in WJPZ, and were willing to be resources to myself and all other members of our station. I love Z89 because there’s no other organization like it on campus or in the country. Due to our top notch alumni network and emphasis on putting students in leadership positions, Z89 stands alone as the Worlds Greatest Media Classroom.

Taylor Serrano – Vice President of Programming
I oversee the music, sports, news and production department as well as program all of the music that plays on Your Party Station! I joined Z89 because of my love for music and the amazing people that bring the station to life. During my time on and off air here at Z89 I have met the most amazing people that inspire me to create my best work!

Isabella Galan – Vice President of Operations
As the Operations Director, I am responsible for assisting the General Manager with station-wide tasks, as well as overseeing the Human Resources and Legal departments. I love being a part of Z89 because it is such a welcoming place, where I not only get to make amazing connections with the other members of the staff, but also connect with the listeners in a new way every single day.

Sunny Suaya – Vice President of Business
I oversee Social Media, Public Relations, Design and Website directors. I also create team plans for station growth as well as manage stations public image and develop strategies for funding, handles sponsorships and on-air promotions with local businesses in Central, NY. I additionally manage budget and fiscal aspects of station. Z89 is not only an amazing station, it’s a great work environment. Although we operate like a normal station we are completely student run, giving students the opportunity to get real hands on experience. Coming into the station is always a joy, whether it’s at 8 am or 8pm, I always enjoy my time at Z.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Gottlieb – Music Director
As music director, I oversee the music shows at Z89 and have the final say for playlist curations with these shows. I add new songs to the nexgen system and g-selector scheduler, while also collaborating with the program director to establish the roster for all music shows! I am so grateful that I joined Z89 my freshman year because I immediately fell in love with radio! I love getting to blend my interests and get creative as I learn more about the radio industry.

Adam Hipsky – Sports Director
I oversee all operations of the sports department, managing coverage of Syracuse Women’s Basketball, Syracuse Women’s Lacrosse, local high school football, and live reporting from Radio Row at the Super Bowl. I love Z89 because it provides a real radio experience, allowing me to cover live sports, produce content, and develop on-air skills in a professional setting.

Danielle Blyn – News Director
As News Director, I manage our three shows (Orange State, Red Carpet Report, and STEM Breakdown), helping with programming and content production. I joined Z89 originally to find a group of people dedicated to keeping the art of radio alive. Now, they are some of my greatest friends on campus, and have been a place for me to grow both as a reporter and on air personality. Z has allowed me to grow out of my shell and become so much more open and engaging with the world around me. Getting to engage with news every week and make it fun for our audience has been a challenge that I’m excited to continue to tackle.

Olivia Rodriguez – Social Media Director
I’ll be overseeing and managing all of z89’s social media platforms, as well as maintaining the station’s social presence. I love z89 because it is a space with great music and even better people. This station has given me some of my closets friends and best memories, all while giving members the opportunity to work in the industry and make lasting connections. There’s truly no place like your party station!

As HR director, I am responsible for training new members and dealing with interpersonal issues at the station. I love that Z89 fosters such a great community of talented people and music lovers, and I am so excited to be more involved with the station.

Elizabeth Forsatz – Web Director
I am responsible for all of the content that goes onto our official website, ranging from articles to artist interviews. I have loved being a part of Z89 because of the fun and welcoming environment that this station and its people have created. Whether it’s for a DJ shift, for a show, or for a meeting, Z89 is a place I love to be and am so glad to have found!

Elie Gelman – Production Director
As Production Director for Z89, I write and create on-air liners and station promos for all the station shows. I also oversee the operations of the podcasting department. I joined Z89 because I love its strong sense of community and creativity. Being part of a team that inspires and supports each other has fueled my passion for broadcasting, and I’m excited to help the station continue to thrive.

Isabelle Gibson – Legal Director
I plan on helping with training and making sure all FCC regulations are upheld in order to make the station run smoothly and efficiently. I love the community of Z89 and all the opportunities it provides to learn new skills both on air and off.

Colin Hulme – Design Director
Design Director at Z89 Radio, responsible for creating eye-catching graphics that represent the station’s brand across various platforms. Collaborates with the Social Media Director and other teams to design content for Instagram, merchandise, flyers, and show graphics. Manages design projects to meet deadlines and contributes to the visual identity of the station. This community of like-minded people is something that’s hard to find in any other work environment. Z was one of the first “clubs” I learned about when applying to SU, and being a photographer, it didn’t appeal to me as much. I decided to join, though, and the people who’ve helped me out are really the best. I’m excited to continue
