Broome County Sheriffs asking for public’s help in chase for Georgetown man


Wanted for domestic violence charges
GEORGETOWN, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Broome County Sheriffs are asking for the public’s help in locating a man from Madison County.
According to Madison County officials, the Broome County Sheriffs have issued an arrest warrant for 37-year-old Michael DeBottis of Georgetown, 13 miles southwest of Hamilton and 21 miles southwest of Oriskany Falls. Madison County Sheriffs are working in conjunction with Broome County Sheriffs to execute the warrant.
According to Madison County Sheriffs, the arrest warrant is for domestic violence charges.
Sheriffs are asking residents for information on the location of DeBottis. If you see him, you are not to approach him; instead, contact 911. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you may also contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at 315-366-2429 or the Broome County Sheriff’s Office at 607-778-1911.
