SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 4 Syracuse will host the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, April 16. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. The game will be played at Christian Brothers Academy at 6245 Randall Road in Syracuse, N.Y. Admission is free.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (11-3) returned to the win column at Cornell on Tuesday, winning 20-9. The Orange put up 20 goals for the third time this season and allowed less then 10 for the fourth time in their last six games. ‘Cuse blew open a competitive 12-8 game in the fourth quarter, outscoring their opponent 8-1 in the final 15 minutes.
Graduate student Emily Hawryschuk tallied a career-high 11 points (7g, 4a). She now has 63 points this season (44g, 19a). Senior Meaghan Tyrrell continued her impressive 2022 campaign with three goals and three assists, while junior goalkeeper Kimber Hower recorded more saves (9) then she allowed goals (8).
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville (6-8) has lost five of their last six after beginning the season 4-2. Senior Hannah Morris, however, has been a constant for the Cardinals all year. The attacker has scored 45 goals thus far, including 13 in her last three games.
Juniors Nicole Perrroni, Allegra Catalano and graduate student Caroline Blalock compliment Morris offensively. The trio have combined for 82 goals in 2022.
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday with be the 12th meeting between Syracuse and Louisville in their programs’ history. The Orange are 10-1 in the series and undefeated (4-0) when playing in Syracuse.
The two met twice last season, both times in Louisville. ‘Cuse defeated the Cardinals decisively on both occasions, 19-5 and 19-7.
