AmeriCU Orange and Blue Game is Friday!

The AmeriCU Orange & Blue Game is just a few days away!

From 6 p.m. when gates open (7:20 p.m. kickoff, on field activities begin at 7), Syracuse has a few hours of entertainment in store for ‘Cuse fans of all ages.

TICKETS:
Are free, but must be claimed in advance at Cuse.com/Tickets.

PARKING:
Is free in the West Lots.

PREGAME:
Orange legends Eric Dungey, Don McPherson, James Mungro and Dan Conley will be signing autographs pregame in the lower Dome concourse from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. Fans can meet the stars in the endzone concourse near section 124 (the end zone concourse opposite the team tunnels).

Fans can also pick up commemorative Dome Tins at Gate A as a free giveaway. Posters are also available at Guest Services for fans.  

Select-A-Seat will also be happening with the Syracuse ticket staff, so fans can try seats before they buy to find their desired locations for season ticket purchasing.

The United Way will also be collecting monetary donations outside the gates to support local charities.

THE GAME:
After a brief period of warmups and drills from 7-7:20, the game will kickoff and it’ll be a team scrimmage until 9 p.m., the contest will look like a traditional game and score will be kept. Fans will be informed at drive starts of which team is ‘Orange’ and which team is ‘Blue’ given that the jersey colors will correspond to offense and defense and not differentiate the scoring teams.

Fans can look out for new faces and a bevvy of returning fan favorites in action. The Orange return 17-of-22 starters off last year’s team, including All-American running back Sean Tucker and First Team All-ACC linebacker Mikel Jones to anchor their respective units. Syracuse has added impact transfers and a number of mid-year enrollees that are pushing the incumbent players to earn playing time.

The Syracuse marching band and spirit squads will also provide in-game entertainment.

At halftime, members of Otto’s Kids Club between the ages of 5 and 12 years old will have the opportunity to get down on the field an participate in a 100-yard dash, plus a select fan will be chosen to participate in the AmeriCU Punt, Pass & Kick competition for chances to win AirPods.

Season Ticket Renewal Rewards winners will also be announced at halftime. Fans who renewed their tickets prior to April 1 have been automatically entered into drawings to win a bevy of prizes, including courtside basketball tickets and more! Renew your tickets before Friday to be automatically entered.

POSTGAME:
Fans will be welcomed down on the field to take pictures with their favorite players for a 15 minute period at stations across the field. Stick around to meet the likes of Sean Tucker, Garrett Shrader and more!

The game will be broadcast from 7-9 p.m. on ACC Network.
