BLACKSBURG, Va. – No.3 Syracuse concludes its three-game road trip at No. 24 Virginia Tech on Saturday, March 20. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (6-2, 3-0) had its two-game winning streak snapped at No. 13 Florida on Wednesday night in Gainesville. The Orange trailed by six in the first quarter but rallied to cut the deficit to four twice but could get no closer in the 14-10 setback.
 
Grad student Emily Hawryschuk recorded a hat trick against the Gators. She now has 22 points in her last four games.
 
SCOUTING THE HOKIES
Virginia Tech enters Saturday’s game on a five-game winning streak that has improved its record to 7-3. The Hokies are 2-1 in ACC play.
 
Sarah Lubnow leads a balanced offense for Virginia Tech with 34 points (22g, 12a). She is one of three Hokies that have amassed 30 or more points this season. The trio includes leading goal scorer Olivia Vergano (27 goals) and Whitney Liebler, who has dished out a team-high 17 assists.
 
Morgan Berman has started all 10 games in goal for Virginia Tech. She has a 10.45 goals-against average and a .410 save percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse and Virginia Tech will meet for the 14th time on Saturday. The Orange lead the series between the two schools, 12-1.
 
The squads last met in the 2021 ACC Tournament first round. Sam Swart, Meaghan Tyrrell and Emma Tyrrell scored two goals each for Syracuse as it posted a 9-4 win. Sierra Cockerille dished out three assists and recorded four points in the victory.
