Another Number ‘One, Right Now’ for Post Malone & The Weeknd on Rhythmic Radio
Given that it features two of the biggest stars currently active at rhythmic radio, Post Malone and The Weeknd’s collaboration “One Right Now” unsurprisingly secures the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart as it rules the list dated Feb. 12. The track becomes Post Malone’s eighth No. 1 and The Weeknd’s 12th leader.
The single advances from No. 3 thanks to a 2% jump to become the most played song at U.S. monitored rhythmic radio stations in the week ending Feb. 6, according to MRC Data.
“One Right Now” evicts “Smokin out the Window” by Silk Sonic – the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak – from the Rhythmic Airplay summit after the latter’s one week on top.
With the new champ, Post Malone collects his eighth Rhythmic Airplay No. 1. It now joins this crew of chart-toppers:
- “White Iverson,” one week at No. 1, Jan. 2, 2016
- “Rockstar,” featuring 21 Savage, six, Nov. 11, 2017
- “Psycho,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, four, April 28, 2018

Among the pair, “One Right Now” finds its home on Post Malone’s roster. The tune is the lead single to the superstar’s forthcoming studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache.
For The Weeknd, “One Right Now” marks the singer’s 12th leader, which moves him into a tie for the fifth-most Rhythmic Airplay leaders since the chart began in 1992. He matches the 12 No. 1s achieved by both Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, while Drake (33), Rihanna (17), Bruno Mars and Usher (13 each), remain ahead.
Here’s The Weeknd’s updated roster of Rhythmic Airplay victors:
