Addison Rae Just Played Her First Festival

As 2025 comes to a close, Addison Rae can update her resume to read pop artist, film star, TikTok heavyweight and now festival headliner.

On Monday night, Dec. 29, the alternative pop artist added a new chapter to her career when she headlined Australia’s Beyond The Valley, marking her first-ever festival appearance.

“Wow, you all like to party out here in Australia. I am very impressed,” she told onlookers mid-set, the final spot of the night at the Valley Stage. “This is my first time performing at a festival and this is quite the welcome. So thank you so much.”

On the night, the Louisiana-born, New York City born-and-raised singer performed “Aquamarine,” “High Fashion,” “Headphones On,” “Fame Is a Gun” and, of course, “Diet Pepsi,” her first Billboard Hot 100 hit.

Rae chose a fine moment to enter festival-land. Presented at Barunah Plains, an historic sheep station in west Victoria, BTV this year celebrates its 10th edition. EDM superstar Dom Dolla is on New Year’s Eve countdown duties.

Last month, Rae completed the Australian lap of The Addison Tour, a headline trek in support of her debut LP Addison, which opened at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

In an August Billboard cover story, Rae told senior writer Kristin Robinson about embracing new adventures, from music to acting. “I really just never give up and never quit, no matter what,” she said. “Really, what it comes back to is that I’m fearless — I’m not afraid of much. It doesn’t really take me much to try something new and go all in, and here, I went all in.”

Rae is staying in the Australian sun for a little while longer. She’s booked to perform at Wildlands festival in Brisbane on Thursday, Jan. 1, and heads west for the Perth show on Jan. 3. Her 2026 tour dates include Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina and Brazil, Coachella, and Spain’s Primavera Sound.
