Nate Bargatze Nets ‘Big Dumb’ $15 Million in October
Billboard published the October Boxscore report on Tuesday (Nov. 25), with Chris Brown repeating as the biggest touring act of the month. But while the biggest stars of rock, hip-hop and more packed stadiums, comedians were road warrioring their way to sold-out theaters and arenas. Here, we’re looking at the five biggest comedy tours of September 2025.
Earlier this summer, Billboard launched its comedy hub with rundowns of the biggest touring comedians of the midyear Boxscore period (Oct. 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025) and of the months that followed. Sebastian Maniscalco, Matt Rife and Weird Al Yankovic topped those lists, but another former chart-topper bulldozes ahead atop the October recap.
This is Nate Bargetze’s fourth month at No. 1, going back-to-back-to-back after leading in August and September, mirroring Brown’s three-peat on the overall touring list. With a $15.8 million gross and attendance of 216,000 fans, he’s up from September’s $13.3 million, but doesn’t quite reach the $16.6 million take from August. More dates are scheduled on the Big Dumb Eyes World Tour through August 2026.
While Bargatze’s October revenue is generally in line with his last couple months of touring, he distances himself from the pack during a slower period of the year. His monthly gross is six times the earnings of this month’s No. 2 act, while Nos. 3-5 sit just under $2 million.
