Luke Bryan & Ella Langley Team Up to Put a Country Spin on a Holiday Classic: ‘Excited For Y’all to Hear This One’

Luke Bryan and Ella Langley are getting into the holiday spirit, releasing a new collaboration as part of Bryan’s new three-song EP, Luke Bryan Christmas, which dropped Friday (Nov. 14).

Bryan and Langley team up for a rendition of the holiday classic “Winter Wonderland,” which evokes imagery of a snow-covered landscape and a wintertime romance.

“Excited for y’all to hear this one,” Bryan said on social media. The longtime holiday favorite was written in 1934 by Felix Bernard and Richard Bernhard Smith.

The new EP, which marks the first holiday EP of Bryan’s career, also includes his versions of “Run Run Rudolph” and “O Holy Night.” Bryan previously released the holiday singles “Run Run Rudolph” in 2008 and “O Holy Night” in 2017.

Bryan and Langley also filmed a music video for their collaboration, with the clip being shot and directed by Evan Harney. The clip shows the two vocalists in the studio recording the song. Bryan teased the collaboration by sharing an Instagram Reel with photos of the two posing for pics, along with a caption that simply read, “Coming Soon.”

Leading into next week’s CMA Awards, Langley is among the most-nominated artists, with nominations including female vocalist of the year, as well as single and song of the year (for “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green). At last year’s CMA Awards, Langley won musical event of the year with Green for “You Look Like You Love Me.” Bryan is a two-time CMA entertainer of the year winner, earning the CMA’s most coveted trophy in 2014 and 2015.
