She first rose to fame as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and has since built a career hosting shows such as Project Runway and judging on America’s Got Talent. Over the years, she’s become well known for her Halloween parties and transformations. For her 2025 party, she arrived as a monstrous, nightmarish, not-so-glam version of Medusa. Complete with green scales, animatronic snakes wiggling from her head, fangs, yellow lined eyes, claws, and complete with a lengthy tail. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, complemented the look by dressing as a Greek soldier who had been frozen in stone. This was a clever take on the myth that anyone who locks eyes with Medusa turns to stone.
Klum revealed that the costume took nine hours of makeup, involved mechanical snakes, and months of planning. “I wanted something very ugly and unusual, but that everyone will recognize,” she told Vogue.
She teased this ahead of the event, saying, “I’m going to be extra ugly and super scary.” Fans were not let down. Klum never fails to become stunningly hideous on Halloween. One of her most famous looks was her 2022 worm costume. Her giant worm transformation was creepy, creative, unsettling, and honestly, pretty funny.
This year’s party was held at the Hard Rock Hotel New York on October 31, 2025. The 24th annual event included other creative over-the-top celebrity costumes. Her daughter, Leni Klum, showed up in full-body paint as Camilla Cream from A Bad Case of Stripes, joining in on her mom’s transformations. Guests included Darren Criss, dressed as Shrek, Maye Musk, as Cruella de Vil, and Ariana Madix, as Lady Gaga. Additional attendees spanned celebrity trainers, stylists, and influencers. The guest list itself becomes part of the performance, as stars show up in character and turn the red carpet into a runway of creativity with no limits.
