Calvin Harris Moves to Wasserman From WME
Calvin Harris is moving his overseas talent bookings from WME to agent Brent Smith at Wasserman Music, who has long managed his U.S. bookings, sources tell Billboard. Smith formerly worked at WME and left the agency for Wasserman in late 2020.
Representatives for Harris say the Scottish EDM artist, known for hit tracks like “Summer,” “One Kiss,” “This Is What You Came for” and “How Deep Is Your Love,” had long planned the move to Wasserman Music after Smith officially joined the company.
Harris is booked to play the Wynn in Las Vegas next year as part of a two-year residency that kicks off on Jan. 16. His previous Vegas residency took place at the nearby Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where he served as the 2024 DJ resident for Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ LIV Las Vegas and LIV Beach.
Overseas, Harris is set to close out the rest of the year with festival appearances at Ushaïa Dubai; the Soundstorm festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Indonesia’s Jakarta Warehouse Project; and Creamfields Asia.
The move effectively consolidates all of Harris’ live business under Wasserman. Previously, Harris’ international touring was handled by WME agent David Levy, who came under scrutiny earlier this year when he signed a letter sent to Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis urging the festival organizer to remove Irish band Kneecap from the U.K. festival’s lineup. Sources say Harris’ move to Wasserman was not related to the letter, but rather was out of a desire to reunite his full touring business with Smith.
