Billie Eilish Slams ‘Coward’ Elon Musk As Tesla CEO Approaches Trillionaire Status: ‘F–king Pathetic’

Elon Musk is on track to become the world’s first-ever trillionaire — and Billie Eilish, who just a few weeks ago made her feelings about billionaires quite clear, is not happy about it.

In response to the news that the Tesla CEO’s net worth is nearing 13 digits, the pop star reposted a carousel of infographics purporting ways Musk could theoretically use his money for good while choosing to sit on the bulk of his unprecedented wealth instead. Among them are putting an end to world hunger and disease, rebuilding the city of Gaza after it was obliterated in the Israel-Hamas war, and saving endangered species.

After posting several of those panels on individual slides of her Story, Eilish wrote Thursday (Nov. 13) of Musk, “f–king pathetic p—y b—h coward.”

Billboard has reached out to Tesla for comment.

The nine-time Grammy winner’s remark comes one week after a landmark shareholder vote that entitles the tech mogul to $1 trillion in Tesla stock if he delivers on certain performance goals over the next decade. Musk is already the world’s richest man, with a net worth of $465 billion, according to Forbes.

Eilish, meanwhile, recently announced at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards that she’ll be donating $11.5 million raised on her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour to organizations fighting environmental risks and world hunger.

At the event, the two-time Oscar winner also looked out at a crowd full of wealthy individuals — including the world’s sixth-richest man, Mark Zuckerberg — and said, “If you are a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”

“No hate, but give your money away, shorties,” she added at the Oct. 29 event.
