Bella Hadid Says This Song on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Is ‘Taking Over My Life’
Bella Hadid is keeping it one hundred about her love for Taylor Swift‘s biggest The Life of a Showgirl hit.
In a recent TikTok, the model kneels on a sandy beach with a friend and does some of the viral choreography to “The Fate of Ophelia,” smiling as she mouths along to the lyrics. “Keep it one hundred on the land, thе sea, the sky/ Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes,” she sings.

In her caption, Hadid gushed over her love for the song. “TAYLOR GIRL what did you put in this song it’s taking over my life.” The Victoria’s Secret angel added that “Ophelia” is “possibly changing my brain chemistry as we speak.”
Swift has long been a friend to Bella and sister older sister Gigi Hadid. When the 14-time Grammy winner dropped Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, the younger Hadid wrote on her Instagram Story, “This is so nostalgic and incredible, amazing work @taylorswift13 this is so powerful!!!!”
Bella also isn’t the only one who’s loving “The Fate of Ophelia.” The track has spent five weeks and counting atop the Billboard Hot 100, while Showgirl is going on its sixth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Part of what’s helped “Ophelia” stick is the song’s accompanying choreography, which Swift debuted in the song’s theatrical music video. The Eras Tour headliner promoted the same dance on her own TikTok, helping it to spread on the app as users such as Bella recreated it on their own accounts. Even Travis Kelce got in on the fun at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October, doing his fiancée’s “Ophelia” dance in the end zone after catching a touchdown.
