Yungblud Adds Brisbane Show, Upsizes Sydney Venue on IDOLS Tour

Yungblud’s upcoming Australian run is already expanding. Amid ongoing pre-sales, the British singer-songwriter has announced a second show in Brisbane and a venue upgrade in Sydney as part of his 2026 IDOLS World Tour.

Originally slated for Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, the Jan. 10 show has now been upgraded to Qudos Bank Arena due to overwhelming demand. In Brisbane, the Riverstage date on Jan. 17 has officially sold well enough to warrant a second performance, now set for Jan. 18. Meanwhile, pre-sale tickets for the Perth show at Ice Cream Factory have completely sold out ahead of the general on-sale.

Presented by Frontier Touring, the Australian leg kicks off in Sydney and spans six cities across the east and west coasts. It follows Yungblud’s recent North American announcement, where all 24 shows sold out within a minute of pre-sale going live.

The tour follows the release of IDOLS, which is led by the anthemic single “Zombie” and the nine-minute opener “Hello Heaven, Hello.” Capping off a landmark year, Yungblud was also handpicked by Ozzy Osbourne to perform the Black Sabbath classic “Changes” at the Back to the Beginning benefit concert.

Earlier this month, “My Only Angel,” Yungblud’s collaboration with Aerosmith, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart (dated Oct. 4). The single marked Aerosmith’s first No. 1 on the chart since 2020, and Yungblud’s second — following his 2020 Bring Me the Horizon team-up “Obey,” which topped the list that September.

The song previews Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD’s joint EP, One More Time, due Nov. 21. Among the five tracks is “Back in the Saddle (2025 Mix)”; Aerosmith’s original song by that title that reached No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977. One More Time marks Aerosmith’s first new material since its 2012 album, Music From Another Dimension!

General ticket sales for all Australian dates begin today (Oct. 21) at 3 p.m. local time via Frontier Touring.
