Morgan Wallen, Tame Impala & More: Which New Music Release Is Your Favorite This Week? Vote!
Another week, another batch of new music releases. Morgan Wallen, Tame Impala and 5 Seconds of Summer all unveiled fresh tracks for mid-October listening — and Billboard wants to know which is your favorite.
Starting with a certain Billboard chart-dominating country crooner, Wallen took a break from his regularly scheduled programming to give fans a cover of “Graveyard Whistling” by Nothing But Thieves. The rendition shows off the singer’s vocal chops and gives fans hope that a deluxe I’m the Problem reissue might be in the works.
Next up, one Kevin Parker is back with a highly anticipated new album, Deadbeat, one of the most introspective LPs in the artist’s Tame Impala project yet. 5 Seconds of Summer also gets into the weeds of identity on “Boyband,” on which the guys poke fun at their former status as teen heartthrobs ahead of their first album in three years, Everyone’s a Star!
Plus, Charlie Puth is serving up a new single titled “Changes,” making a splash with an accompanying music video in which he and wife Brooke Sansone announced that they’re expecting their first baby. Other new singles released this week include Joji’s “Pixelated Kisses” and Teddy Swims’ “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming,” recorded for the soundtrack of the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
It might be difficult to choose, but of all the newly released music this week, Billboard wants to know what you’re putting on repeat. From Wallen’s cover to Tame’s new album, vote for your favorite release of the week in the poll below.
