In an interview with Vogue France published Monday (Oct. 20), the singer-actress revealed the special gift her “II Most Wanted” collaborator gave her. “Beyoncé is definitely the best, period,” Cyrus told the publication, according to its English translation.

“She gave me a bracelet that I never take off,” Cyrus continued. “And trust me, I know how to use it when I need to. If someone tells me I was wrong or did this or that wrong, I say, ‘Well, you know what? It doesn’t matter. Beyoncé gave me this bracelet, look!’”

The two women’s paths crossed a couple of years ago, when Queen Bey reached out to Cyrus to collaborate. The invite would eventually spawn their “II Most Wanted” duet, which appears on Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album. The two ladies would go on to win best country duo/group performance at the Grammys.

“I wrote that song, like, two and a half years ago,” Cyrus told W Magazine of “II Most Wanted” in June 2024. “When Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away, because it really encompasses our relationship.”

Cyrus has since released her latest album, Something Beautiful, in late May, and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Elsewhere in her interview with Vogue France, the Hannah Montana alum opened up about what rock n’ roll — with which she experiments on her new LP — means to her.

“I would say honesty,” Cyrus said before naming a few of her heros. “Just look at Stevie Nicks, her theatricality, her scarves, her capes and her look … That’s really who she is on a daily basis, I can attest to that. When you see Joan Jett on stage, you know she’s wearing the same black leather pants backstage. And David Bowie wore platform shoes and stellar jumpsuits with disconcerting ease!”
