Billie Eilish’s latest limited-edition NBA league collaboration with Mitchell & Ness proves that music and sports are deeply intertwined.
The multi-piece headwear collaboration is available for purchase right now on Complex Shop and features a slew of playful and nostalgic snapback designs dreamt up by Eilish herself, affixed with patches and the singer’s name, of course. Each hat retails for $60 and includes designs for 17 NBA teams. The team designs include Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat.
Every hat boasts an “OG Fit,” which basically means the hat is structured with a high-crown fit and a squared-off flat brim. The custom patches throughout give the snapback visual interest, upgrading an otherwise simplistic baseball hat silhouette. In short, they make the hat less basic and more of a statement piece, bridging the gap between fashion and sports. The back of each hat has adjustable snap closures.
