Benson Boone to Headline ‘Insanely Sick’ Show at Kennedy Space Center’s Rocket Garden

Benson Boone is preparing to blast off for one of the most exciting shows of his career. On Nov. 29, the “Mystical Magical” singer will perform as part of Visa Live at the Rocket Garden, a one-night-only special event at the Rocket Garden at Kennedy Space Center visitor complex in Merritt Island, Fla., that will be livestreamed to fans around the world on TikTok.

“Visa and NASA have truly gone above and beyond bringing this show together,” Boone tells Billboard. “This show is going to be so insanely sick and one I’ll remember forever. I hope everyone likes my outfit as much as I do…”

Though the singer didn’t share details about his look for the performance, the show will take place in one of the most unique settings imaginable: against the backdrop of the Rocket Garden at night, with nine towering rockets from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo eras lined up in the background against the night sky at the complex that is typically closed to the public after dark. Special guests will be announced later.

“The Visa Live experience speaks to a fundamental truth in music: the space or environment in which the music is performed actually matters to both the artist and the audience,” said Frank Cooper III, Visa’s chief marketing officer in a statement about the series that featured a Post Malone show at Paris’ Louvre museum in May. “We believe that Visa Live at the Rocket Garden embodies the history of real space travel and the promise of future exploration, providing a setting for Benson Boone to deliver a never-been-seen-before experience. It reflects our commitment to reimagining the fan experience and creating new spaces for artists to create.”

Tickets are not available to the general public, but Florida residents 18+ can enter for a chance to win free tickets to the show beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Nov. 6 via the event’s website.
