You can ditch the umbrellas Thursday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – After a damp Wednesday, our skies should gradually turn brighter on Thursday afternoon. Get all the details below…
Improving for the end of the week
Things start to turn around the second half of Thursday. After a gray morning, drier air moving in during the afternoon should lead to some sunshine. There may still be some clouds around even then, but compared to Wednesday’s heavy overcast, it is a brighter afternoon. That should get our temperatures back into the 70s.

The weather continues to improve and warm up for the end of the week. Temperatures rise back into the 80s for both Friday and Saturday.

What about the weekend?
Saturday looks to be a dry day. Along with a mix of sun and clouds, highs reach the mid to upper 80s, and it will feel a bit humid.
With a cold front moving through on Sunday, our chances for scattered showers and storms will increase. Temperatures will also cool back into the upper 70s.

We hold onto the chance for some showers right through the middle of next week, along with even cooler temperatures! Click here for your full 7-day forecast.
