Jessie Murph Makes History at The Great New York State Fair

Jessie Murph is a 20-year-old American singer and songwriter who has recently risen to fame and performed at The Great New York State Fair, located in Syracuse on Friday, August 22nd, 2025. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Murph is known for creating a sound that is comprised of all country, pop, and rap genres, making her music truly unique. Her gritty and powerful voice, along with her emotional and vulnerable lyrics, has granted her a newfound popularity and fan base. 

While Murph is a memorable artist in her own way, her performance at the Great New York State Fair was truly groundbreaking. This singer attracted a crowd of roughly 49,000 fans who were captivated by the performance of her Worldwide Hysteria tour. Jessie Murph made history, as her concert was the second-highest-attended concert in the fair’s history. 

She turned her time on the stage into an experience for the audience that kept the energy electric and her fans intrigued. Her set featured a large circular bed placed in the middle of the stage that was accompanied by the choreography of her dancers. Both aspects formed the storytelling and visualization of her songs. However, the best moment of her set was when Jessie brought a fan up to the stage to sing her song “If I Died Last Night.” The whole audience sang along as Jessie and the fan she brought on stage shared a moment of strong connection and emotion. While setting a record in the Great New York State Fair’s history, she also left a mark on the hearts of her audience that night.
