In Instagram photos shared by j-hope Thursday (Aug. 21), the “Mona Lisa” singer spends a day at the beach with RM, V, Jung Kook, Jin, Suga and Jimin. In one snap, the Bangtan Boys pose for the camera as the sun sets over the water, Jin flashing a peace sign while Jimin stands with a beach towel wrapped around his shoulders.

Other pictures show the bandmates hitting up a few stores for some shopping. Fans who can’t wait for new BTS music will also be pleased to know that j-hope added two muted videos of the group recording music in the studio, with one showing V bopping along while singing into a microphone and Jung Kook smiling while Jimin lays down vocals in the other.

“BTS!!” j-hope simply wrote in the caption.

The post comes almost two months after the performers reunited on camera for the first time since putting band activities on pause to fulfill their military obligations. Suga was the last to finish his enlistment period, getting discharged in late June shortly after RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook.

In a Weverse livestream on the first day of July, the septet squeezed in together and revealed their plans for 2026. “We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year,” the members said in a joint statement at the time. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”

“We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album,” they added. “We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”

In the meantime, ARMY is enjoying Permission to Dance On Stage, BTS’ first-ever live album, which dropped in July. The band last dropped an album in 2020, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Be.
