Watch ENHYPEN Create Its Own Action Movie With Thrilling ‘Outside’ Music Video
K-pop boy band ENHYPEN has quickly earned its place among fellow all-stars groups such as Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. But in a new clip, the septet is facing its biggest challenge yet — themselves.
On Sunday (June 22), ENHYPEN dropped a new music video for “Outside,” its hip-hop inspired track off of the group’s latest album DESIRE: UNLEASH. In the new clip, all seven members — HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, JUNGWON, NI-KI, SUNGHOON and SUNOO — face off in high-octane fights against shadow versions of themselves.
After a robbery gone wrong, a warehouse fight and even shots from a rooftop sniper, the two versions of the boy band wind up duking it out in a choreographed dance battle before they dodge out of the way of a massive explosion. “Like an X-game, you drive me/ Running the adrenaline through my veins,” the group sings in Korean. “Overflowing desire takes you/ Beyond the boundaries of my reason.”
The new clip comes just one week after the fast-rising group earned its third No. 1 album on Billboard‘s Top Album Sales chart. Selling 95,000 copies of DESIRE: UNLEASH in the U.S., the boy band also scored a No. 3 debut on the Billboard 200, marking its eighth entry on the chart and its fifth top 10 album.
For its April 2025 cover story with Billboard Korea, the group members spoke about their huge plans for 2025, including their debut performance at Coachella, their latest album and more. “When you’ve put in the preparation and hard work, I think it’s time to make an impact,” SUNOO said. “There’s still a lot I want to improve, but in 2025, I hope to show a version of myself that’s even more ready.”
