Lizzo Is in Her Rap Bag on ‘My Face Hurts From Smiling’ Mixtape: Stream It Now

Lizzo released her My Face Hurts From Smiling mixtape on Friday (June 27) via Nice Life and Atlantic Records.

The 13-track project features Doja Cat on “Still Cant Fuh” and SZA on “IRL.” SZA already suggested their second collaboration was coming soon after writing, “Working on a guest star for bookie @lizzobeeating’s new mixtape” during their “lil after-dinner session” on her Instagram Stories earlier this week. Lizzo and SZA first collaborated in 2023 on the remix of “Special” from the former’s 2022 Grammy-nominated album of the same name. Last month, they performed “Special” together during the first LA stop of SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour.

“I’m not kidding this is actually the most fye mixtape ever,” the “Kill Bill” hitmaker wrote on her IG Story earlier this week.

Lizzo warned fans that “Rap Lizzie” was coming out to play this summer when she dropped a verse on Pluto‘s breakout hit “WHIM WHAMIEE,” featuring YKNIECE, over Memorial Day weekend. Sexyy Red also hopped on the official remix.

My Face Hurts From Smiling will tide Lizzo fans over until she’s ready to drop her fifth studio album Love in Real Life, which she confirmed she had finished recording in March. The full-length project will include her previously released singles “Still Bad” and “Love in Real Life,” and no release date has been announced yet. The “Truth Hurts” MC hasn’t dropped a project since Special three years ago, but since then, she recorded “Pink” for the Grammy-winning Barbie soundtrack in 2023.
